just wondering if any buddy knows if polaris will have a limited edition sportsman for 2008. thanks for any info

 

I think they usually release that info in January.

 

Well getting closer to January, just seeing if any buddy knows if polaris is having any limited edition sportsman. Was at my dealer and my sales man said polaris is do for a body style change, but didn't say when. They already have painted plastic standard for 2008. I'm hoping for something cool like, power steering. Hop some one has some info, thanks.

 

They will go bigger than a 800cc I bet!!!!...........Maybe not for 2008 though!!!!!!.......Caper.......................... ...I really don't think they need anything bigger than a 700cc anyway!!!!..........Sorry 800 club!!!.....Did I spell that out-loud!!!...........LOL...LOL.....Caper............

 

hey maybe a 800 in a lighter frame to compete w/ the renegade. who knows except for the honda guy who started the rumor. lol.

 

I would like to see a much needed improved scrambler 500EFI, 800HOEFI with independent rear suspension, with complete gauges.

 

Maybe they will put the 800 in the new mid-size Sportsman frame(300cc-400cc)(hawkeye)????.........They did "BEEF" it up more?.....Didn't they??.......LOL..........Caper...............

Well ..........The 450 "was" in a FULL size frame...............Now in the mid-size!!!!
So the 800cc is in a full size frame..............................Why not!!!........It should fit if the 450 did!!
LOL........LOL..........I would not be suprised if Polaris did this ...Really.........800cc in that frame.........................Now bring on the Outlander!!!!......LOL....LOL.....Caper........... .

 

I wonder if they will put the rear suspension that's on the touring models on the regular sportsman, they say it has less scrub and the shocks are at the rear make it easier to adjust. And way did they quit painting the rear suspension red!! I liked how it stands out from the rest of the quads.
