Default Newbee plow question

New to this forum and new to AC. Picking up an 08 400 4x4 Thursday and had a question about plows for it.
Been looking on the net at plows and was wondering which one do people recommend? From the ones i've looked at you need to pick the different components. What exactly do i need and who has the best price? Want to try and keep it as low cost as possible.

I have the 5 foot Moose plow on mine. I have a 2006 400 auto. You won't believe how much snow you can push with these cats. Also gives you an excuse to run the wheeler year round!

I have a 5 ft. Cycle country plow. I like the new teflon dirt just rolls right off from the plow, haven't got to use it in snow yet. The toal weight it adds to the ATV is about 105 LBS. The makes the Griz 700 squat about 3 inches raiseing it.
I was pusing rocks yesterday it didn't chip the teflon or even scratch the balde.

5ft is the way to go! Carbon is spendy, but light and never rusts.

A light plow is not a positive, especially toward the end of the season you'll get build up. Also if you plan on using it for dirt at all you'll even want to add weight.

I have the Kimpex clic n go 5 ft plow works great for me. It squats my bike and bites good in the snow. IMO you want it heavy because there is no down pressure. What I like about it is the quick release when I finish using it...Just unhook the winch pull a lever and push the bike back and it falls off. It does handle the 5ft with ease and I'm sure a 400 would push it with no prob...just my .02

I've got the same Kimpex 5' on my 450. I would agree that you would want a heavier plow because there would definatley be build up at or near the end of season from lack of scrapin' I can't believe they could sell someone a carbon plow. I wonder how the sales pitch would go for that eh? Probably easier to throw one of those in the deal upon purchasing the bike, than trying to justify spending hard earned money on useless crap.

Those plows look just like the Eagle plows. That's a great price with free shipping but, I'd go with the winch system.
