My friend fell through the ice over the weekend and the front end transmission oil was a yellowish color that means water had gone in. Will this happen every time we go into water. I`ve heard that yamahas were known for having problems with water getting into the rear and front end transy.I now own a Timberwolf 250 but in the process of exchanging for a 01 Kodiak. I also had problems with water going into my rearend.

Any feedback would be helpful..
