engine braking
The AC have engine braking but leave a lot to desirer. the Best EB in the Honda 500 Rubicon.
To make it work best you should be in low range and then go to 4 wheel drive. This way you are stopping on all 4 tires and the low range will slow even more. In fact you may be best off to engage the 4 wheel "lock" rot best 4 x 4 traction.
