Default 04 Polaris 700 cv boots

my 04 700 has 6010 miles and im wondering if any one was ever opened up the cv boots and re greased them? and if so, how hard is it? where do i get the tool to attach the new bands? thanks in advance guys.

theres an ole saying "if it aint broke dont fix it" so i wouldnt even consider taking off the boot unless its damaged or its clicking. this is the sound you'll start to here if it =s going bad.

thx for the advice. its a job i really dont want to do, but it does have high miles on it. So i think ill just leave it.

Default 04 Polaris 700 cv boots

My idea is if the boot and claps are working right no contaminates can get in and the old grease can,t get out. Grease is not like oil and has property break downs over time. Sure you regreese the other joints but they are hit by water and dirt with no boot protecting them.
