Anyone have any problems with the polaris winch that comes on the 07 deluxe models? I have, It shreaded a gear inside that connects to the spool. It was used once. Polaris did give me a new winch though. Can i expect yhis again or did i get a bad one?

 

no offence, but can anyone say warn look alike piece of junk. but at least they replaced it for you thats good. hoe it will last longer w/no more problems.

I was told by my dealer they were built by superwinch.

 

that could be i was thinking over seas for sure but new it wasnt a warn thats for sure. they were trying to cheap it out when they offered it on the wheeler as a package.

I must have got one of the last two WARN winches in 2006 for my Sp 450's ..(dealer)..Still have one in the "BOX"..............Should put it on E-Bay and maybe get double for what I paid for it............................................OH wait.......I got it free!!!!!!..........As least that What I was told!!!!......LOL....LOL....Yeh RIGHT!!!!!!!!!...........Caper............

 

The chinese winch that Polaris put their name on crapped on me after about 9 months. Dealer replaced but still a PIA. Think it was the gear also cause would make noise but spool would not turn.
