NEW ATV LEAKING @ GEAR CASE
#1
I just purchased a new peace 110cc kids atv from an online dealer. (closed on the weekends). I put it all together no problems until I changed the fluids. I drained the gear oil (very little in unit) and replaced. Before it was full, gear oil was leaking around bottom of motor where the gear case cover gasket appears to be. I sent the seller an e-mail. Has anyone else had this problem. I leaks very close to where the bottom two bolts hold the cover on. Also how much gear oil does it take? Help!!!??

sounds to me you didn't put the oil in the right hole, on the right side of the engine towards the rear is a oil dip stick, this is where you pour in the oil, it takes about .6 of a quart, to check oil leval remove dip stick, clean it then just set it in the hole , do not screw it back in, their's markings on the dip stick , fill it untl the top line
