2000 xplorer 250 rim / tire combo?
#1
(first post - be gentle)
I've recently acquired two 2000 xplorer 250 4x4's and am in the process of fixing them up. The rims are pretty bent, and I'm considering replacing the rims with some aftermarket alternatives.
They both are running stock 23x7-10 front / 24x11-10 rear on stock rims. Tires are about 50%, so I could move up to a different rim diameter if necessary.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a lack of info on what time / rim combos work with a the xplorer - perhaps due to rim size / clearance / or even popularity issues.
Any suggestions on what cost effective sizes / combos would be best? Of course, weight is an issue with a 250, so I would like the solution to not exceed the stock tire/rim weight.
