Oil Change on 05 Sportsman 800

Oil Change on 05 Sportsman 800
Stupid question: Having trouble finding drain plug. Is it on the right or left side? Also, Do I need to remove guards on bottom? I have the shop manual but it is vague on these details. Any tips are much obliged. Thanks in advance!

Oil Change on 05 Sportsman 800
The plug on my 800 is on the bottom, and I didn't have to remove anything to access it. Not sure if it's the same on your 05. There should be adequate information in the regular owners manual for you to locate the plug.
