Im was wondering what the faster 400cc class sport atv is. also the top speeds would be nice to know .. thanks

 

The Honda has a torquey low end, so I like it for trails.

The Suzuki is more revey. It makes its power at higher RPM, and has a faster top speed. I like it for open trails and wide open country.

a piped or moded scrambler 400 2 stroke

 

I owned a KFX 400 (same as z400) It was plenty fast. Stock for stock, you're gonna beat a 400ex in a race. Go with an '06 or later z400 and you will be pleased. Slight modifications can give you more low end. Keep in mind, you will still have to use the clutch a lot in tight wooded trails.

The kfx/z/dvx400 is the best overall for trails. I dont like the 400ex, too slow. But its a good bike, i just wish it was faster. Good bottom end however.

 

TRX400 is a good bike , I just don't care for it only being air cooled.

I really don't know if it beats it in every category. I personally know the Z is faster. The Z is a torque monster for a 400 .
