Foreman 450S won't go into neutral
#1
Hey folks...first time poster looking for some help.
I was plowing with my Foreman 450S yesterady and was 3/4 done with the driveway when it stopped shifting into neutral (and, of course, from neutral to reverse). I can shift from first gear up through the gears and back down to first, but it just won't go into neutral (which means I can't start it either). Looking for any ideas of what to look for. It's a 2001 with about as many hours on it as miles (around 95).
Thankfully I also have a snowblower...lol.
Thanks!

Weird, I dunno besides shaking the bike while your shifting to get it to slip in. None the less to get the bike to start, run a jumper wire from the starter solenoid (round relay next to the battery) black wire with a green stripe to the negative battery terminal. That will give you a neutral light and let you start in gear. I have this set up permanently on my 450s to start in gear at any time.

Thanks for the starting info. FYI... This is a quad, not a bike, but that starting procedure should still work, correct?
Still looking for ideas on the neutral issue if anyone has any...I'm at a loss and looking to avoid a trip to the dealer.
Thanks,
