Original post: Installed a UM 4 qt oil tank on my 05 Predator ran bike 3 or 4 times since install today saw oil leaking out of dipstick but when I removed air box lid it was full of oil looks like it came from breather hoses any ideas??? ok put stock oil tank back on put 2 qts oil in tank read owners manual said to prime oil pump by squeezing off line by the tank I did so with channel locks engine fired up in about 10-15 seconds heard a pop and it split stock oil tank in half????what the#!@%% it built that much pressure took all oil lines off checked for blockage nothing help me out please already ordered a tank from ebay

 

Tank must have be weak at the seams!!............The manual even says to pinch off line for 10-20 seconds!!...............First I heard of it yet...........My two 450's have plastic tanks also.........Thanks for the good news.....LOL....LOL........Caper.............
