Default Yamaha 1999 Wolverine, HELP

Having Problems with 350 Wolverine. The carbs and gas are clean. It idles perfect and it runs good through mid range,BUT will not run through high RPMs. It sounds electrical, but have gone through all the connections. Any Ideas? It has been taking a lot of time to try to cure.
Thanks!

It may be the switch associated with the parking brake either being out of adjustment or faulty. This switch when engaged by application of the parking brake enables a rev limiter that will cause the engine to spit and sputter when you try to bring up the revs...

It could be the e-brake switch but I think it is limited to 2500 rpm so you wouldn't even have a mid range. It sounds like a fuel issue to me. Check your air filter and make sure it's clean. If that's not the problem then you'll need to check your carbs closer. Check the boot going from the air box to the carb and make sure they are connected properly, sometimes back pressure from the engine can pop them off. Air can get in this way. If that's not the problem then you will have to check your jets. Even if you've had the same jets for a while they can get gummed up.

Thank you so much for your help. I elimated to parking brake switch and e-brake switch and tested them and it still reacts the same. What other switches are left?
Thank you for help.

Make sure your vacuum diaphrams are free of rips/tears, and make sure you have the small o-ring on the top cover. It could not be creating enough vacuum to lift the needle.

Did you ever get your wolverine fixed? If so what was the problem and how did you fix it?
