Default 07 400 auto rear suspension

just bought a used 400 auto with 112 miles.it seems that the rear suspension is real stiff.when i push on the rear rack it only squats an inch or so. i weigh 190 pounds.the front seems fine and it actually seems to ride fine, just seems real stiff.the pre loads on the rear springs are only 1 position from the lowest.i also have a 07 650 trv the springs on that are way lighter,i can squat that one 3-4 inches by doing the same thing.probably worried about nothing, but thought i would ask.also any problems with them, and how do you like yours.thanks for any info.

when new the shocks are stiff. as time goes on they will begin to soften. when mine was new it did the same. i weigh 145 so it didnt move much and that was on the lighteast setting. Now i have them cranked all the way up and i can still make it squat. my rear shocks are newer now b/c i loaded the trailer with too much wood too many times and blew the shocks. the 400s are great bikes and to my knowledge there arent any problems with them. i have 4 friends that have them and any problems. well, one had problems with the 4x4 system. a piece inside stripped so it couldnt engage.
