I don't mean to be a dork I don't know if I am asking the right place the right question but here goes. I am looking for someone who knows what color switch assembly wires goes to red and black + & - for the winch controller. It was directly hooked up to the battery for the snow plow and it died or ran down , even though the quad was turned off, no key in the ignition , yikes .. Help if you can..

Find the accessories outlet. Looks like a cigarette lighter on the side fender. Find out which wire is the hot wire for that. Forgot the color maybe somebody else can help? Connect your red wire & that hot wire. Now your handwarmers won't turn on unless the key is turned.

FANTASTIC!!! I am jumping out of my skin right now... Not a pretty site... It is snowing and we just got 8" this morning in addition to the 11" already on the ground and we need to plow to get out.. That will make a clean installation and a clean escape from the house to HOOTERS for lunch today...Thank you , Thank You...

Gimpster & Honda Finn,
Everything worked and made the day go smooth as silk. Well almost.. On the accessory hook up their was a 10 amp fuse on the main a.t.v. fuse box which I blew 2 times at the start up when using the circut to operate the winch for the plow blade. I changed it to a 30 amp and the day was a dream, snow comin down , warm, plowin etc..Will the 30 amp wreak any hidden havoc on the electrical system that I should know about? Should I change the fuse back to the 10 amp for the accessory's ? ?
Thanks again to you both.

Maybe drop back to a 20 amp. The 30 is OK, as the wires will handle that load before they let the extra smoke out of themselves... hehehe
There are some connectors in that system that may want to begin to melt within their little pin holder clips at 30 amps draw, just be aware of this.
My bad, I normally advise upping the accy fuse to a 20 amp when this port is used for a power point for your winch solenoid. Don't worry though, you are not the first person I forgot to mention this to and they popped a 10 amp fuse. I always forget that part...
