Where is the best place for a rear fender for a 1996 300ex

I'd say on the rear. If you don't have them on you'll know where they go.

If you are wanting to save some money, you can always try ebay. There are always some old fenders from being slightly used to destroyed... There are also some maier plastics there, but just watch out to see if they are blems or not. The blemished plastics are much cheaper, just don't look as good, but some times ebayers will try and sell them as new, so that you pay more and get ripped off.

bike bandit, hondaparts-direct, denniskirk, rockymountainatv. I'd try them all. Word of advice. Don't get the cheap plastics. They are flimsy and a pain to get lined up.
