In need of some advice please!!! Have a 92' Timberwolf 250 went to start it the other day and it cranked and cranked but wouldn't turn over, then i heard a pop and saw a flash that appeared to come from under the bike. It continued to crank for a little bit and then, just got a click click noise. My battery was not the best, so I bought a new one and still all I get is just a clicking noise, wont even attempt to crank. What should I check for?

It won't turn over, or it won't start. You said you crank and crank it but won't turn over

 

sorry, what i mean by crank is it doesn't even attempt to try to start, just get a clicking noise when i push the starter button.....

 

might have a worn out starter, that is what I would check first off.

 

hello might want to check the starter relay, did you check all the connections to make sure they are clean and tight from the battery all the way to the starter? hope this helps.
