I have a new Polaris 90 that has a strange problem. It starts right up and runs for about 10 minutes than it just dies. Sounded like a fuel problem to me so I take the fuel line off at the filter and I'm not getting any fuel out. I loosen the gas cap and all of a sudden I have fuel. All my other quads have vent tubes on the gas caps but this one does not. It's under warranty and I plan on taking it in and letting them look at it but it seems strange that there is no vent for the gas tank that I know of. I have a friend that has a Polaris 500 and his gas cap does not have a vent on it either. So I'm guessing that it is getting vented somewhere else?

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this before? Hate to spend the time of taking it in when it might be a very simple fix (other than putting on a vented gas cap).

Ya, I tried the same thing as you with the gas cap. Makes you wonder if its a design flaw. Let me know what your dealer says. It will be a couple of weeks before I can take mine in.
