Default sundiro sunray 90 wont start-please help

hi everyone im new here just so you know. anyway today i got out my atv a sundiro sunray 90 and it wouldnt start. i tried everything, theres gas, a new plug and im pretty sure a spark. but, i havent used it in a month or so and the last time i used it i left the gas selector switch on reserve. would this have something to do with it? is it simply flooded? ive had it for seven years and never had a problem with it ever. any help would be greatly appreciated thanx

Check the oil dipstick level. If there is fuel leaking through the carb, the cylinder may have become flooded. Some of the fuel may have gotten past the rings into the crankcase. Take out the spark plug and check to see if it is wet. If it is, crank the engine over a few times to blow out the excess gas. Your air filter may also be saturated with gas and this could be causing a flooded condition as well.
