Default rear wheel leaking oil

Can you guys out there help me out with this. My son's atv (coolster) has started leaking 90 wt oil out the center of the left wheel and getting oil all over the tire. Is ther a seal in the axle that could be tightened up...I keep having to add oil to the rear end.ight rear tire has never leaked any oil...Thanks

sounds like your atv is a shaft drive?? with a rear diff? If so there would be axel seals to prevent oil from coming out the diff box. Do you have a parts book that came with the quad? Maybe it will so a picture of whats all in there. If not some website that sells parts for it may have a parts picture.

no, its a chain drive..I guess the oil has to be leaking thru the axle in order to exit at the wheel or where the hub is attached to the axle.Question is how do i get to the seal. The manual that came with the atv is'nt very helpful
