Default 07 Sportsman 800 belt snap caused by engine mount

This weekend the belt on my 07 SP800 broke, with only 37 hours on the machine, the dealer just called with the diagnosis and the front engine mount is cracked, thus causing the clutches to become mis-aligned and when the belt broke it punched a hole in the bottom of the clutch cover.

all of the repairs are being covered by warranty and the dealer said there is updated front engine mount for the 800.

I ride an 08 800EFI. When you next talk to the dealer, can you ask if the 08 models have this new front mount?

Many thanks,

Thanks Black, I wondered what the broken mount looked like. Now I know what to check for everytime I look at mine.
