My Xplorer 400 has lots of miles but runs well. It suddenly started to whine very loud when driving at any speed in high , but reverse and low sound normal. I'm a little reluctant to drive it right now. Any clues out there?

 

How many mileage your machine? High ranger everytime used not much low and reverse used do fine but high ranger need rebuild trans chain or bearing fix it. My xplorer same thing doing happen high ranger rebuild trans because wear chain and bearing, my xplorer 10,237 mileage right now.

 

thats some good milage on an atv. maybe bearings getting bad?
