Just bought the Jetmoto 110!!!
#1
I just bought the Jetmoto 110 for my son. I have read other posts regarding making sure all hardware is tight and changing out the oil. But what kind of lubricants should I be using. Which NGK plug should I be using and can I physically remove the gel in the carb myself prior to breaking the bike in. Also, How often should I be changing the oil before it is ready to go. Any help would be appreciated.

Not really But Yes! I posted another thread thanking everyone for their time. It wa a combo of a bad base gasket and some bad fuel. I went through the motor completely, replaced all the gaskets and put everything back together and it started first pull. I put it on CL about 3 days and sold it yesterday. I still have the CT kit with the 165 head though. So now I am looking for some helpful links on the 110 so I can have it rollin by next weekend for my son!

Well I just bought the Jet 150 this month. I left the stock plug in it. I changed the oil right away and put in 10w-40 oil. My info said to change it after the 1st 10 hrs. again.
My jet seemed to be bolted together pretty good nothing was loose. However I did go over it and put blue loctite on all the bolts that went through plastic and the brackets between the plastic and frame. Also the bumper mounting bolts I put loctite on.
Once you pour the gas in it you have to let it idle a while to disolve the gel pack.
One thing I did is I pulled off the front hubs and put grease on the rubber hub seals. They come assembled "dry" inside the hub. The bearings have grease in them of course as they are sealed bearings.
Over all we are happy with the 150, we did though put on new rear tires for snow (see my pics).
I also have a 110 atv with the same tires as the 110 Jet looks like it comes with and we are going to switch them out to for a better snow tire. The tires they come with are made of a hard rubber. They'll probably last as long as the ATV but they don't give the greatest traction in the snow.
The Jet 110 I see is a 4 speed with reverse which should be really sweet. Ours is just a 3 speed with reverse. Having the extra gear would be nice as 1st on our 3speed is a bit high.

Congratulations on the purchase moomba99!
You can certainly take the carb apart to remove the gel pack if you want. Or just let it idle for about 15 minutes and it will dissolve properly.
NGK C7HSA
I would toss the stock air filter and mount a Clamp on UNI Pod filter. This is assuming the 110 still uses that tube to connect to the front of the housing.
If after riding it you want more power there is a new pipe available for the 125 that should fit on the 110 and help some. Definitely makes it sound stronger.
