Default terracross/bighorn WINTER REVIEW

Hi all...

Let's start with this....
I do most of the time ATV on winter on trail system, like snowmobile, on GROOM trail. I did allround 1000 to 1500 miles each year and love ridding....I use my ATV in summer on my private land to lauch the boat for fishing, work with trailer for some chore etc....So I don't use my atv alot in summer......

Ok...Last year I bought a set of those BIGHORN 25-8-R12 and 25-10R12. I read a lot of REVIEW and talk to maxxis company and I decide to take a chance. I was so desapointed when I did some trail with these tire.....The **** of the tire was so big....is like I was on the ice all the time on the winter trail. The tire was slippery. I could not even take a good line when I was riding and cornering tight. I tought these tire was good on snow but the round profile of the front tire was not as good as the OEM CARLISLE ACT. But the fact is the way too much..... big log of the tire.......for WINTER made it to slippery.

After I ask some help on a topic I made...a couple of month ago...I decide to buy the TERRACROSS 25-8-R12 and 25-10-R12 for my NEW X2 500. What a BIG surprise......these tire was VERY good on the same trail, same condition, I test the BIGHORN. The TERRACROSS got the split log, less big as the BIGHORN, and a pretty flat profile compare to alot of tire out there...

I be suprise of the performance of these tire on groom trail....I take the corner like I got nail on my tire.....The are NIGHT AND DAY compare to the BIGHORN for my kind of ridding. They run smooth as the BIGHORN, but with a BETTER traction on ICE ans SNOW. So the advice ITP made about these tire was a good advise.....''good for snow'' and I NOT DISSAPOINTED AT ALL. The tire I be suprise too, was the OEM Carlise ACT....( but got alot of distortion, I have to balance all of them ) but I put some car nails on.

I don't want to go deeper on this tread just want to share......I' happy with the choice I made....
