Default Just fabed up a 2" reciever for the SP

I just got done installing the 2" recever i fabed up for my Sportsman. I plan on getting a LA guard dog and didn't trust it on the winpy 1.25" factory hitch. I used the two a arm bolts and drilled 2 new holes in the web of the frame. I used grade 8 nuts bolts and washers. The factory a arm bolts were long enough to go through the 3/16 plate the backing is made out of. I almost cut out the factory hitch and welded it in its place but i like haveing it for the yard cart. My next mod is a 2" on the front for moving around the small trailers easier.

I made a 2" receiver for my sportsman also. I used the 2 holes where the 04 models and down would use a tow hook or ball. I welded a couple bolts to the tubing and bolted them thru the holes where the ball would have bolted. It's worked out pretty slick.
