i know this is way off from anything we deal w/ but is there anyone on here that knows anything about old coins and books about them? just a shot in the dark.

what i have is alot of old foreign coins including a roman coin dated around 307ad and wondering what book i should get to find values.i have anything from asia, africa, europe, and middle east coins. thanks.

Well I guess the first thing you could try is ebay, they have alot of different coins on there.

well im really looking for a book that shows the value. i got this collection from my grand father when he passed away 17 yrs ago. i tried to join a coin forum but i guess my standards arent up to snuff. thanks for the responses.

Stendori, what I was trying to say is that ebay has alot of foreign coins that you might be able to get a value of yours from. I dug up a 1764 Russian Ruble years ago and by chance they had one for sale for 175.00. maybe one or two of yours would be there. As far as catalogs go Iuse Kovels but I don't know if they have any foreign coin issues
