I am looking to upgrade my stock 06 YFZ 450 SE. I dont want to spend more than 500 bucks. The machine really is fast enough as if but I feel just like any other high performance machine you should make the engine run more smoothly and efficiently. Any ideas for some cheap performace upgrades, Also if anyone has some used parts for sale???? let me know!

 

well the first thing to always do is exhaust and intake. you might beable to find a exhaust for under 500 exp used. if you can work on your bike you can save some becuase you rejet it your self otherwise you will have to pay someone to do that and the $500 mark might be broken. oh and you can do the yfz cam mod for free if you can do it. i herd its not that hard but dont know first hand.

 

For under $500 you can do all of the following

Aftermarket Exhaust and header
New jets to re-jet the carb
remove airbox lid
perform Cam-mod
