Honda 250X steering weird
#1
Hi, I just noticed that my wheeler is steering REALLY weird. When I turn it, the left wheel goes, but the right one hesitates for a second until you turn it further. That same right side tire also leans a little bit while the other side is straight. It leans with the top toward the center of the quad. Any ideas? Tie rod adjustment or something like that? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

The tie rod end could be sloppy or loose, but it sounds like one of the a arms is screwed up, because of the camber change. Jack it up , and start wiggling things on that side, it should be easy to see what part has too much slop in it. Everything should be firm and snug, and nothing should clunk or be loose.
Dont ride it anymore, until it gets fixed, because if it lets loose all at once, someone could be headed straight on into a tree or something.

Well, I did what you said, and it turns out that the tie-rod was loose. I tightened it up, and it seems to be fine now, but it still leans. It's been leaning for a while, since I got it about a month ago, but I didnt think it mattered enough to fix it. How do you change the angle of the tires? Loosen those bolts on the tie-rod and unscrew it or screw it in more, then tighten things back up again? Thanks for the help.
