Hello all,

I just picked up a single-seat buggy for my kids. It was a home-built, but very well done.

It has a Honda 200M motor in it. It's great, has an electric start, auto clutch, and air cooled.

But not enough power for the dunes.

Any suggestions to a motor that's 400-600cc with the same features??? I don't care about the brand and I don't need 80+hp. I'll make the mods to fit it in and I don't mind going to water cooled. The chain drive is OK!

The auto clutch and electric start is crucial.

any help???

i had a 300EX racing quad one time and it went pretty fast. its chain drive and electric start. if you got one of those engines or even a 400ex that would make it go pretty quick. you may need to do some welding but it should work.
