Hi guys and gals I am new here but I am having a problem. I bought this atv/go cart and the guy said it was just a frame. No biggie. I have installed a new motor, new battery, new wiring harness, and a new choke cable for $290. Not bad, but I can not get it to start. No lights no horn no nothing. I cannot find where the little green ground wire goes. No spot that I can see on the selanoid or on the motor. I am assuming at this point that it will do nothing unless I find where that ground goes. Any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

 

So I just took one of the bolts out of selanoid and attached it there. now I have 12v at ignition but still nothing as far as lights or horn and no attempt at starting. At this point im guessing ignition cgi or volt regulator? also how can I test the ignition?

 

Ok the ignition was not ohming out and when I opened it it looked like it was at the bottom of the ocean for a year LOL so start with new ignition.
