Honda Rancher 4x4 Vs other 4x4s
#1
I have a 2005 Honda Rancher 350 4x4 ES, just recently we started mud riding and trail riding alot, mostly mud. My rancher has gone through it all suprisingly well. Even having to tow back a 250 recon after it died with me and someone else on mine, and the other atv with someone on it I couldnt even tell i was pulling anything.
But some of my friends have bigger atvs like a stock 06 yamaha grizzly 450 and a honda 500 and they say they could beat me through the mud and make it farther. I really dont think just because the extra power they could make it farther and get through easier.
Do you think my rancher can keep up with them and make it as far? Cause I think it can. And how do you think it compares with other 4x4s like 400's and bigger. Does anyone have any stories of how their Rancher did better or just as good as some of the bigger ones?
Just wanted to share some stuff. Thanks

WHILE I ROAD A 2001, KING QUAD 300, WE WENT THROUGH THE DEEPEST MUD YOU CAN FIND AND 4 FOOT DEEP WATER, THE OTHER FOURWHEELER WAS A 500 LIFTED MUD TIRED HONDA, THE SUZUKI WENT JUST AS FAR OR FARTHER THAN THE HONDA BUT AT A SLOWER PACE.

I've ridden with a lot of big bore machines (and even 2WD smaller machines). The big bores ended up stuck where I was stuck and vice versa. Being a lighter machine, my Rancher was easier to get unstuck. The big bore machines can turn bigger, more aggressive tires and have built in lockers which is nice. I don't suffer from any lack of fun with my Rancher (or Rubi).
