EFI is just as reliable as carbs. The EFi systems used on ATVs is the simple "Throttle Body" type. The ECM that controls it is another matter.

The EFI Controller specs are:

Bosch MSE 1.1B

But its hard to find much other information on it.

they kind of remind me of the late 80's gmc style of fuel injection.

The brand make on the 500 EFI is different than the 700 and 800.

I figured it was TBI. Just retrofitted my '77 K5 Blazer with a '90 TBI. A big improvement over the old Quadrajet, but no where near a modern MPFI.

I think on a quad I'll stick to a carb.

i think in the future they all will be efi. the only way to go. imo
