My polaris factory winch crapped out yesterday while plowing on my 07 800 Deluxe. It was installed at the factory and is still under the 6 month warranty which is sweet (only 10 days left on warranty). The winch got progressively louder during its last HOUR of life...I have had numerous winches break previously so I realized when this thing was on its last breath.

MY QUESTION: Have any of you had any problems with your factory winches on the DELUXE models?

 

I had to replace the contactor...I was out of warranty!!

 

My cable wont go in or out...I think its the gear inside...this is what has failed on the numerous warn winches I have had...My opinion of warn...overpriced junk. My opinion of Polaris winch...not as expensive as a warn and not any better or worse besides the price.

 

Dealer just called...they replaced the entire winch....Damn I am the WINCH KILLER
