any 1 raced mx with the raptor?

any one here been able to race motocross with there raptors yet? if so how did it do? i raced a banshee with stock suspension last season, ive been contemplating selling the raptor and building a r.. But with tcs shocks etc i wonder if the raptor could be competitive.where i race it is an open class, only one quad class.thanks in advance for your thoughts...

I would like to know how the raptor performs on mx too i am debating between an R or rapter but i made up my mind with the raptor...help us out guys

Keep your Raptor I look forward to riding it when you mod it out.Hehe

88' 250R he gets me on acceleration but I pass him on top end.Hmmmm...I'll have to work on that.

I raced my tricked out Sport 400 against a couple of raptors in arenacross and they finished dead last.They worked great in flat straights and flat corners but one of them got completely destroyed when the guy tried to take an average sized double,the other guy tried a couple jumps and almost tossed himself off so he just rolled the jumps the rest of the day.
Maybe they would be o.k. if you spent a few thou$and bucks on them but never very competitive from what I have seen.

and your"trick" sport did better..my mom drives a sport,the one my dad gave her

Yeah, the "trick" to that Sport is getting it to run! The best trick I ever did with mine was making it disappear.
