I think the Raptor will be a great MX bike with the proper mods. You definately need an extended axle, tires/wheels, extended a-arms and shocks to be competitive. I've ridden mine on the MX track for practice ( haven't raced yet ) and I think it'll do fine. I'm waiting to get set up before I put it on the line.

Raptors are not the greatest thing ever built, they are overpriced big engine CRAP!
If you children want to call me a liar thats fine,I have been called worse names by better people than you bunch of posers!
If you want proof come watch me destroy any raptor or banshee that races arenacross in my area!

like i said, if the raptors were stock or the riders sucked or both i would believe u. mabye u are a very good rider, ive smoked all kinds of faster machines on the track with a blaster, becouse the other people didnt ride as hard as i did. But a wider, tcs suspended raptor should never get spanked in arenacross by a polaris..id love the oppertunity to race u on a mx track!

Yea deathtripper, I've been riding for 20 years and racing for about 15 years. I started out on 3-wheelers and moved up to quads and raced both for a while. I've had several quadracers and TRX250R's, and ridden several Banshee's and 400EX's, so I really believe that a Raptor will do well. I'm in the process of getting mine ready to MX. I must admit though, the 2-strokes will still be hard to beat, but after I got my Raptor it made me feel that it was a 4-stroke with potential. It has a good powerband and great handling characteristics, just needs a little help, but what quad doesn't? So it's my opinion that it'll do just fine given a good rider.
