Default 2004 Big Bear Oil Capacity

How many quarts does the 2004 Big Bear 400 2x4 for crankcase oil capacity. Im gonna buy a clymer manual eventually but the price hasnt been justified quite yet.

not sure about 2004 bit my 2007 big bear 4x4 holds 3.17 qt.

alright thanks, im pretty sure they still use the same 389cc engine.

Default 2004 Big Bear Oil Capacity

Yes, it is slightly over 3 quarts. You don't need a clymer manual to change the oil or diff fluid. It is pretty easy and both take all of about 20 minutes.

I just did this to my parents 2004 2wd BB400. I also changed the spark plug and it continues to run like champ, even though the two of them are will used and abused. I don't think it ever sees a good cleaning until after I ride them the once or twice a year that I do.

Yea i just bought my uncle's from him, i wore my recon out after 8 years of teenage abuse. you ever notice how big they make the drain on these things, its huge, pretty much dumps out in a couple seconds
