Raptor 660 won't start
This may be a stupid problem. I have an 05 Raptor 660. It sat for a month without being used but would start and run. Yesterday I started it and let it idle with no prob. The thing was the gas was on reserve and the bike stalled, I guess cuz it ran outta gas. But now the bike won't start. It cranks but if I'm liucky I get one putter. Spark is good but it appears I'm getting no gas. The **** is clean, no clogs. It's start with starter fluid but only for a sec til the fluid is all burned up. Help? Anyone?

1. Unplug the fuel hose to the carbs, make sure there is fuel flowing.
2. Make sure there is spark at the plug.
3. Make sure the carbs didn't come off the intake boots.
4. The valves may be to tight. Raptor valves wear and get tight and don't seat. It really gets tough to start.
It should start if all of the above is good, unless it is flooded.

Okay, the hose to the carb flows fine. The plug has spark. The carbs are not off the boots and the engine isn't flooded because I smell no gass. It seems like there isn't any gass to burn. How can I check the valves? Some people say the floats are stuck open and some say some stupid sh*t about needing an oil change. Jeez I just wanna ride!
