Is there any way that anyone has sealed the airbox where the "snorkel neck" attaches to the air box but is still detachable?

 

grease can help. I use it where the filter sits in the box, the K&N doesnt seal good , and grease helped to the point that I wiped dust out of the inner boot to where its clean now. It will trap dust where surfaces meet.

 

A rubber coupling, available at any hardware store. I use a 2" coupler on mine

 

that makes sence for the air filter thanks.. how about the top of the air box

 

Run a little grease around the joint.

 

you want to seal the air box,what from?

 

water, mud and other grit

 

to be very honest with you ,your a little to anneal . of coarse thats just opinion , i run most of the time with no air box .

if i know its going to be very wet the modded air box go on as a kind of splash guard
