Looking for suggestions for my 2006 scrambler 500. I was considering bigger then stock tires but wanted some feedback from someone who has done this.

Also, looking to mod it and would appreciate anyone who would like to suggest modificatins that they have done and are happy with. Thank you in advance...

this is a guy who knows about scramblers and modding them some what.

 

carb mod, pipe. shed weight, but clutch for bigger tires. But i cant say i have seen a scrambler with bigger tires.

Which pipe will increase torque rather than lose?

 

Forget about the big tires!!!!Go with decent clutch kit and slip on muffler.If you want a deep mud machine go with a Sportsman.
Not be an A hole but the Scrammys are a good all around machine you go to messing with the tire size you will loose your handling.You can reclutch to recover the lose in power but not handling.

Look at my mods. Everyone of mine i am very happy with.

 

Tires -you cant beat the stock 489s for all around performance
Exhaust slip on White Bros or FMF . full system Pro Cirrcit or SuperTrapp
Clutching TEAM roller secondary and HPD or Dalton front clutch weights & spring
