Default 2001 raptor 660

yamaha 660 Raptor 2001

bike starts and idles fine when you try to ride when giving it gas it just bogs down like it is starving for Gas. recenltly took it t mechanic he said timing chain skiped a tooth he reset and ran good for 2 rides and now this. should I replace timing chain?

Yes you should but if you can tightin it than do that I will look into it and see if you can.

Default 2001 raptor 660

Def need a new timing chain. Evidently it is stretched to the max. It has an automatic chain tensioner adjuster.
