A friend of mine has a 2006 Sprtsman 800 and we went to change the oil in it over the weekend and someone hab been not so kind to the drain plug on it. We havnt gotten it out yet. What size is the allen wrench needed to take the plug out? Also does anyone know the thread size and pitch because once we getit out will need to find a plug to put back in and the nearest dealer is about 50 miles away.

I believe its 6mm allen head.dont know the size and thread of the plug. One trick on buggered allen and torks heads is to use some valve lapping compound on the wrench, makes for a tighter fit.
