My polaris has no power

Ok well i have a 1992 polaris 350L 2-stroke finally got it running and now NO POWER I have to push it hammer the gas and then jump on and still it barley has enough to pull me around at 3 mph! What could cause this?

the reed valve is bolted to the head behind the carb.it acts like a intake valve for 2strokes.the carb boot mounts to it .it's around $40 for a new set of reeds. it helped mine out alot.you can turn them over once and use the other side.the reeds have 3 screws per side holding them on the housing

not sure if it's the fix for you.when i replaced mine it idled alot better and the throttle responce improved greatly. i had something similar to you at w.o.t. it would barely pull me then all of a sudden it would take off wide open. then it would do it all over again. i had some bad gas in it and it gummed up the carb. i had to take it completely apart use carb cleaner and very fine steel whool to polish and clean everything. have'nt had a problem since hope this helps some

not like you would not notice but if you exhaust pipe poped off the joint by the engine it really bogs the engine down...also make sure you exhaust pipe is clean and not carbon filled.

Keep um' coming guys I like all these ideas now kind of a strange thing when i just have it in nuetral and rev it up once I get past a certain Rpm it revs up a little higher but as soon as I get on it and put it in gear no power at all!
