I bought a 1996 Timberwolf 250. It was running ok when i got it but didnt like to idle low. When i bought it, it has a fuel filter on the gas line. I took that off. Then it would idle at all. So i bought a carb kit and new float and changed all that out. It would not crank then. I put the filter back on and now it will crank and run GREAT with the choke on. If you turn the choke off then it will die out. If you have the choke off and keep it running HIGH RPMs then it will run but backfires. Then if you let off the gas it cuts right off. Could anyone help me with this?
