Idle sumble after deceleration
#1
My wifes beartracker has a stumble coming to idle after decelerating, or just reving the engine in nuetral. Idle is set at 1400 & at leanest mixture without stumble on acceleration. I have just cleaned, and paid extra attention to pilot Jet. I did not change float or needle position. Richen up the air/fuel? Richer needle position? Raise float? Bigger main?
Before I take it apart again, I was hoping this might be obvious to someone.
Thanks in advance for taking time to respond.

It's always good to make sure the float setting is correct (check manual for specs) before any adjustments are made and the carb fuel and air passageways are clean as well. Afterward, does the choke on help or hurt the situation?

Carb is clean. Runs fine with choke/enrichener while cold, and at a high idle when hot, just as it should. I leaned out the fuel mixture, and The idle increased as it should. I left it a 1/4 turn lean and set the idle to 1500 RPM. If that does not work, I will check float adjustment. It rarely if ever stalls just a dip in the idle speed as it tries to recover once off the throttle. Indication to me something is amiss.
