Default Polaris scramblers..

Thinking about pickin up a scrambler.. Would like an older 2 stroke one, was just the 400 made in a 2 stroke, or 500 too? and what years did they make the 2 stroke scramblers? I think all the scramblers were 4x4 too right? Thanks.

Default Polaris scramblers..

they were all 4x4 in 2 stroke models.
the 99-03 came in 2x4 and 4x4 500 4 stroke

i had a 96 400 2 stroke and the top end blew up i got it bored out .40 over and wiesco piston.rod and fmf exhaust it ran real good. it was quick and snappy.but i traded it straight up for a 99 4 strke 500 HO and to tell you the truth i would never go back to a 2 stroke unless it was a dirt bike, the 500 HO 4 stroke scammys are nice because they have lots of power and you can putt around and you wont foul plugs like on the 400 2 stroke.
