Default 300ex tires

I am looking for some rear tires for my 300ex. I mainly ride trails. I have been looking at the original Razr tires. I do not ride as much as I would like, so I do not want to spend a ton of money. I have never had to buy tires for my wheeler yet, does anyone know what size tire I need? And would you suggest 4 or 6 ply? Any responses would help greatly...thanks!!

Jeremy

Razr tires werent stock, they were Otsu.
6 ply tires are gonna be pretty heavy, and probaby slow it down. I found the stock tires off a 450r were pretty good, plenty of traction, and long wearing. Plus they powerslide better than the stock tires did.
If you shop around, you can find new take offs for about 100 bucks for both, which includes the wheels, much less if its just the tires.
Stock size was 22 inch tall 10x9, and the 450r tires are 20 inch tall, but it really wakes up the acceleration, and you only give up a little bit on top end speed. I thought the tradeoff was worth it.

Sorry, I didn't mean the tires were originall Razr's, I mean the plain Razr tires because they have Razr 2's and different models of that tire now.

We have ITP Holeshot XCT 22-11-9s and love them. We havce 22's for ground clearence cause we ride a lot. But get 20's and put a 14 tooth front sproket on it.
