Its time for a top end rebuild on my stock Warrior, should I do a stock rebuild or go for a big bore kit? Has anyone done this to a Warrior and how did it turn out?

 

I have installed a wiseco 10.5:1 piston and a web racing cam with my head ported and polished on my 98 warrior. I love the new power. My buddy has a stock 400ex with this increase in power my warrior now stays up with the 400ex. It's a little less expensive then a big bore kit but damn what a differance. Don't get the top end cam get the mild one. The lobes on a top end cam are very steep and that stresses the valve stems when they close. They actually don't just close they slam shut because of that reason of the lobes being very steep.

I have an '87 Warrior. A few years ago I had Mickey Dunlop at 4 stroke tech install his 435 warpath kit. Well that was about 5 years ago and it still runs great. The power increase was about double what stock was.
