Has anyone ever thought or tried mounting a 250R motor into a 450R frame?

Some guys put 100hp Sled and 4 cylinder street bike motors in ATVs so anything is possible. Since a 2 stroke 250 motocross race against 450 4 strokes I would think power be close but with a different manner of power band delivery.

Now a 85-01 70hp CR500 2 stroke motor would be a nice project to see in a ATV.

 

wouldnt the 450 motor be stronger?I'm not sure what the hp rating are for both motors.I'm thinking the 450r would outrun the 250r

 

Not sure about ATV racing but when I see the 250/450 motocross races its sometimes a 250 and other times a 450 in the winning circle. Same with the 125/250 class races.
