Default Tell me about lift kits

Thinking about doing a 2" lift on my rancher 350. Can anyone tell me how hard it is to install one myself and if there are any HOW TO posts for this. Could not find any. Doesnt look like there is much to it by looking at the parts for one.

Just put a 2" lift from high lifter on my friends brute force. There is nothing to it.
It comes with the instruction. My 08 rancher is gonna get one to.

Thanks, that seems easy enough. I think I will try 12" wheels/ 25 tires all away around first as suggested by RemedyX to see how it looks. Then maybe a 2" lift after if it does not give the look I want. Not wanting a monster truck look just want something that looks better than the stubby looking rear tires and wheels that look like they are close to the fenders at the bottom. The front looks pretty good stock.
