DS650 Rear Shock Question
#1
Hi Everybody:
I have just bought a 2004 Ds650 Baja X model
Being a bigger guy I tightened down the rear spring on the mono shock to make it stiffer. I noticed an adjustment **** on the side oil canister if I turn it clock
wise will it make it also more stiffer?
Will somebody please help me on this?
Also who makes bigger springs if I end-up needing to replace the stock one for a bigger spring to hold a bigger fellow. How much of a pain & cost to upgrade my shock and where can I buy a bigger rear spring?
What can anybody tell me about the rear mono shock thing on these quads.
Thanks
Garman

you may aslo be able to buy a sring from works shocks or King shocks. you may also consider having the shock revalved. a stiffer spring will make the shock MORE springy and may cause the rebound to over ride the valve. call works & talk to Sandy & see if you stock shock can be revalved & set up for your weight & how you ride. i use Pro G3 shocks from them as i wasted my stock shock running a + 6 swing arm. the proper valving is the key not a bigger spring.
